This is not your average funny tee shirt site.

There’s nothing wrong with those other sites, mind you, it’s just that this one takes things in a different direction. Most other sites have jokes that almost everyone can understand (“Sex instructor – first lesson free” or “She’s fat. I’m drunk. It’s OK”). Some people might not think it’s as funny as you do, but at least they understand the joke that doesn’t make them laugh.

This site, however, is all about obscure jokes. The idea is that to be really funny, you have to make the sacrifice and not dumb it down for the masses. Every shirt requires the reader to know some obscure fact in order to complete the joke – be it rudimentary Latin, 19th century philosophy, conservative politics, or maybe just a firm grasp of irony. Most of the shirts you see here probably won’t make sense, but the ones that do should strike a chord deep in your funnybone and bring a smile to your face.

And really, that's what life is about - being happy. If by wearing these shirts you accomplish that AND you are perceived to be more intelligent by your peers, then these shirts are just the thing you're looking for.
